Kyu exam programs

When starting karate lessons in our club, students are automatically awarded the 10th kyu (white belt), unless they have previously trained in another club, then they keep the previously obtained belt. After learning the exam program, students take the test for the next grade or belt (9th grade - yellow, 8th grade - orange, 7th grade - red, 6th grade - green, 5th grade - blue, 4th grade - violet, 3rd-1st kyu - brown, 1st dan - 1st level black belt, etc.). The preparation period until the next belt exam lasts about 1 year, but it may be shorter or longer, depending on the students' diligence, talent, participation in competitions, camps, seminars, etc. Children, for greater motivation, do karto tests on the dragon's teeth (ribbons on the belt) every 3 months. After successfully passing the three prong tests, they are allowed to take the belt exam. Teeth can also be awarded for good performance in training or competition.
